September 2- First day of school - beginning of Trimester 1
October 1 - Count day - Attendance required
November 26-28 - No School - Thanksgiving Break
November 28 - End of Trimester 1 (all assignments must be submitted)
December 1 to December 5 - No Students - Planning Week for G2S Staff
December 8 - First day of Trimester 2
December 22 - January 4 - No School - Winter Break
January 5 - School resumes
February 11 - Count day - Attendance required
March 6 - End of Trimester 2 (all assignments must be submitted)
March 9 - 13 - No Students - Planning Week for G2S Staff
March 16 - First day of Trimester 3
March 27 - April 5 - No School - Spring Break
April 7 - School resumes
May 21 - Graduation (Time TBD)
May 22 - 25 - No School - Memorial Day
May 26 - School resumes
June 3 - Last day of school (all assignments must be submitted)

School Closures / Snow Days
If there is a school closure for any reason, including inclement weather, power failure, or other reason, we will attempt to notify you as early as possible. Closure notifications are made to Channel 9/10 television and local radio stations. Additionally, we will attempt to notify people through our Facebook page and via text message, for those who have registered their mobile phone with our office. Please check with these sources - do not call the school to check.
